Denver, CO – Apex Waste Solutions (“Apex”), a portfolio company of Kinderhook Industries, LLC (“Kinderhook”), announced today the acquisitions of Twin Enviro Services (“Twin Enviro”) and certain assets of WM of Colorado, Inc. (“WM Assets”). These represent the third and fourth acquisitions, respectively, that Apex has completed since partnering with Kinderhook in November 2023. Founded in 1971, Twin Enviro is a vertically integrated solid waste provider operating two landfills, one material recycling facility and three hauling operations across the Colorado Western Slope. The acquired WM Assets include one transfer station and three hauling operations serving Divide, Steamboat Springs and Gypsum/Vail, Colorado. Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Sidley Austin LLP served as legal counsel to Apex and Kinderhook in connection with the acquisitions and financings. Holland & Hart LLP served as legal counsel to Twin Enviro. Debt financing for the transactions was provided by a syndicate led by Comerica Bank with participation from Webster Bank, Fifth Third Bank and Huntington Bank.
